Meet Brett.
Tournament angler, Air Force veteran, Thousand Islands transplant, smallmouth bass fanatic.

From Georgia to the Thousand Islands.
I'm Brett Anander — an avid fisherman and tournament angler with a deep passion for smallmouth bass.
I grew up fishing in Georgia and had the opportunity to chase both smallmouth and largemouth all around the country. I went to school at Georgia Southern University, and after graduation I joined the Air Force. That's how I ended up at Ft. Drum, right on the St. Lawrence River.
It's there that I not only found my passion for trophy smallmouth — I met my wife and found a place to call home. The Thousand Islands region grew on me fast, and I've spent the years since learning every stretch of this water.

Help you catch your PB.
One of my favorite things to do is help others learn — sharing the knowledge I've picked up over the years fishing the Thousand Islands region.
Whether you're a seasoned tournament angler working on a technique, a lifelong fisherman checking a bucket-list trip off your list, or a first-timer who's never held a baitcaster before — my job is the same: put you on fish and help you catch the biggest smallmouth of your life.
Hopefully I can be part of your next PB story.
What you can expect.
Go Where The Bite Is
River or lake — we fish the water that's fishing that day. No sentimental attachment to yesterday's spots.
Share What I Know
Every cast is a chance to learn. Ask questions — I'm here to teach, not just drive the boat.
Respect The Fish
We handle fish carefully, take quick photos, and release strong. These smallmouth are why we're here.
